Hello world! Alyssa Rae is now 3 weeks old and things have finally settled into a groove here with the Kieschnick family. The last couple weeks were kind of crazy though. First Alyssa was born, that's a hospital stay. Then she had some pretty intense Jaundice and we had to go to the NICU for a few days. After a few more ER visits to make sure her bilirubin levels were still under control things finally calmed down and Chris and I can enjoy our little girl! Everything is going smoothly so far. Alyssa has discovered her thumb and uses it to self soothe quite often. We have a nice and regular feeding schedule. Night time feedings are stretching farther apart (I actually got 3 hours of sleep in a row!). Alyssa has had her first sink bath and everything is looking great! Lets hope that everything keeps going as smoothly as it can. We're enjoying our sweet little girl!
